Babuthe Automotive components

Babuthe was founded by the Automotive Incubation Centre in 2012 as a Tier 2 component supplier to the broader automotive industry in South Africa. It is part of an Incubation Programme initiated through OEM’s and Government partnership managed by the Automotive Industry Development Centre (AIDC) to forge automotive business relationships and develop emerging suppliers in the automotive, engineering and manufacturing industry to become globally competitive in the automotive component manufacturing sector.

A Bit About Us

Babuthe Automotive Components was established through an Initiative by Ford Motor Company and Gauteng Provisional Government to develop black-owned components suppliers in the Automotive Industry. Babuthe’s main business focus involves vacuforming, robotic trimming, drilling, assembly and logistics of automotive components for OEMs. Additionally, We operate an extrusion and regrind facility.
