Our main activities are thermoforming of plastic and Poly-Urethane (PU) components and robotic trimming, drilling, sub-assembly of hardware’s components onto the moulded parts supplied during the finalisation of products and sequence supply to FMCSA. We basically transform raw material onto the moulded components into 8 product ranges found on the new T6 Ford Ranger built in Silverton Manufacturing plant.
Products that shield the inner-side of van bed from damage and also can create a skid-resistant surface allowing cargo to stay in depending on circumstances.

Through various joint ventures with companies such as AIDC, FMCSA, Vacuform 2000, and MSSL Global, we have managed to access industry expertise in areas such as technology, tooling, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
We have thus acquired experience over the years of existence in the Automotive Industry in the design for high Volume Manufacturing and Assembly Activities.
Babuthe Automotive Components was established through an Initiative by Ford Motor Company and Gauteng Provisional Government to develop black-owned components suppliers in the Automotive Industry. Babuthe’s main business focus involves vacuforming, robotic trimming, drilling, assembly and logistics of automotive components for OEMs. Additionally, We operate an extrusion and regrind facility.
